The Cosmopolitan is everything I'd hoped; a pared down, modern, yet timeless take on the classic "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" beadstead. My new bed might just be the most beautiful thing I've ever owned. We opted for a 4" base with a 14" mattress on our 12" high frame and it works really well with 10' ceilings. We are tall so no step stool needed!
